Dates

  • 1 September - Notification of acceptance.
  • 15 September 2017 - Camera-ready version.
  • 21 September 2017 - JOWO workshop (exact FOMI date TBD).
Accepted Submissions
  • Full research papers: max. 12 pages (including references).
  • (UPDATED) Extended Abstracts: max. 4 pages. This track is thought for researchers and practitioners who want to share their practical experiences with ontologies or ontology-based software. In the submitted abstracts, authors are expected to provide the motivations for adopting ontologies in their workflows, as well as the advantages or disadvantages due to the adoption of ontologies. In the case of ontology-based applications, the authors have to provide information concerning the use of the software, as well as the software functionalities implementing the ontologies (e.g., query, data annotation, consistency checks, reasoning, etc.). Authors whose abstracts are accepted for presentation will be asked to provide a short demo of the software during the workshop.
Submission Procedure
  • Papers should be submitted non-anonymously in PDF format following IOS Press formatting guidelines (downloadable here)
  • Papers should be uploaded via Easy Chair following this link (select the track "Formal Ontologies meet Industry")
Publication
All contributions to JOWO workshops will be published in a joint CEUR proceedings volume.
