{"id":15,"date":"2024-03-05T00:03:07","date_gmt":"2024-03-05T00:03:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.loa.istc.cnr.it\/sortt\/?page_id=15"},"modified":"2024-03-05T00:35:51","modified_gmt":"2024-03-05T00:35:51","slug":"about","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.loa.istc.cnr.it\/sortt\/index.php\/about\/","title":{"rendered":"Project"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">the SORTT project envisages a smart space where a variety of sensors acquire a grid of motor, physiological and stress-related conditions, to describe and monitor patient&#8217;s performance during a well-defined motor rehabilitation session. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The smart space consists of a set of wearable sensors and features integration of an IoT system and an ontology-based modeling system.<br>The IoT system: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Collects the sensor data sources available in the environment, which can be dedicated or generic and may differ in type, collection rate, data quality, and the like;  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establishes whether the incoming data is sufficient to safely monitor the patient, in particular by comparing pathological and normal subjects data; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Elaborates on the edge data into digital biomarker that are significant to healthcare professionals. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ontology-based modelling system:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Collects the biomarkers, possibly suggesting data types to monitor more closely; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Integrates biomarkers and environment data to evaluate the patient\u2019s context and her\/his state during rehabilitation exercises;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Generates an Ontology-based Human Digital Twin of the patient in the language of healthcare professionals, and uses it to monitor the situation and alert when professional intervention is needed. <br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project develops arounds fife inter-related milestones:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>MS1<\/strong> \u2013 Project management (CNR)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Coordination (M1-24)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dissemination (M1-24)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>MS2<\/strong> \u2013 Scenarios and requirements (UNIPR)<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>User requirements, system model definition and use\u2013cases (M1-4)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Physiotherapy protocols definition &amp; biomarkers data identification (M3-6)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analysis of the state\u2013of\u2013art and of the enabling ICT solutions (M3-6)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>MS3<\/strong> \u2013 IoT\u2013based patient and scenario monitoring architecture (UNIBO)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sensor data collection (M5-12)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Edge-based data analytics and physical activity recognition (M7-16)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MS4\u2013 Ontology-based modelling and OHDT (CNR)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ontology\u2013based modelling of the patient\u2019s state and rehabilitation session (M7-18)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Development of the Ontology-based Human Digital Twin (M7-18)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>MS5<\/strong> \u2013 Proof\u2013of\u2013concept implementation, calibration and validation (UNIBO)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Input\/output towards the medical professional (M13-20)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Testbed calibration (M15-24)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experimental assessment and performance evaluation (M18-24)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>the SORTT project envisages a smart space where a variety of sensors acquire a grid of motor, physiological and stress-related conditions, to describe and monitor patient&#8217;s performance during a well-defined motor rehabilitation session.
