{"id":2,"date":"2019-05-15T15:13:11","date_gmt":"2019-05-15T15:13:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.loa.istc.cnr.it\/?page_id=2"},"modified":"2025-07-22T10:15:26","modified_gmt":"2025-07-22T10:15:26","slug":"sample-page","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.loa.istc.cnr.it\/","title":{"rendered":"Home"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.istc.cnr.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CNR-ISTC<\/a> Laboratory for Applied Ontology (LOA)<\/strong> performs  basic and applied research on the ontological foundations of conceptual  modeling, exploring the role of ontologies and ontology management in  different fields, such as: <em>knowledge representation, knowledge engineering, database design, information retrieval, natural language processing<\/em>, and <em>the semantic web<\/em>. The group is characterized by a <em>strong interdisciplinary approach<\/em>  that combines Computer Science, Philosophy and Linguistics, and relies  on logic as a unifying paradigm.
